2013 Season Blog
With the car only just being bolted together a week before the fist event Doune, we booked a dyno session at Performance HQ in Dalgety Bay. Unfortunately a misfire halted the session early. This was traced to 2 faults, interference in the loom and a weak spark, the latter only being found after the loom interference was sorted. Still driveable, we took it to Doune to get some data and see how she handled as we had no pre-season testing time. The misfire was quite bad but we still recorded 3 runs in the 48s on the lowest boost we could and with a heavy misfire. She feels much lighter and nimble now so we can't wait to get back to the dyno and unleash the power we know the Twincharger system is capable of producing on pump fuel.
Next event is Fintray Hillclimb where she's already done a 27.91s run in her previous lardy guise.
